DUO NIVA CLD

The DUO NIVA CLD was born from our obsession to innovate and drive improvement, performance and value.

Aesthetically it’s easy to see how the DUO NIVA shares its DNA with our flagship BRIJ NEDAN 2.0 platform, with what’s become our trademark form factor.

The DUO NIVA sets new standards in isolation at its price point and utilises Constrained Layer Damping (CLD), a method of damping usually afforded to much higher priced designs.

Constrained layer damping is a mechanical engineering technique used in the suppression of vibrations. A specially chosen damping material is sandwiched between two sheets of stiffer material called the constraining layers. The combination of the special damping material and the two constraining layers, helps to dissipate vibrations within the damping material and across the stiffer constraining layers.
The three layers dissipate vibration by absorbing kinetic energy and effectively converting it into low-grade frictional heat.

And just to put the icing on the cake, the DUO NIVA CLD is supported on our unique 'CircSink' foot bed and Sorbothane hemispheres. The combination of the 'CircSink' and Sorbothane provide extremely effective dissipation of energy.

Extensive testing of over twenty five different materials was undertaken to produce a product that has the perfect balance of performance and cost. Our choice of materials has allowed us to produce an extremely slim platform whilst delivering high levels of vibration control.
